Diversity
I was sitting on a couch when someone made the comment, "You know so many foreign people" directed towards me. I had this brief epiphany that they said nothing but straight truth that I never ever would have realized without them. Puerto Rican, Persian, Greek, African, Brazilian, they're all different and worth the experience. The exploration of culture is so belittled and many people lose sight of the entire world going around them. You can not function effectively and to your potential without knowing your surroundings and history. Origin is more than founding fathers, geography and language. Its truly everything summed together to shape your present, yet we never want to give attention and recognition to our origin or others origin for that matter.
