Our Generation
I have found the youth of America so blind of the magnitude of the events going on within our own history. From the falling of our Twin Towers as the only attack on US mainland soil to the Iraq War on Terrorism peaking at nearly a decade of struggle. 200 years after President Abraham Lincoln took a stand for the liberation of minorities, our new President Barack Obama has stepped to the throne to complete Lincoln's dream. The evolution of technology has given us clear perspective of The Iranian Revolution as passionate teenagers fighting for political reform. Our generation has seen the country in a few short years completely revolutionize. As we take a more prominent stance in guiding our future, it is important to remember the changes we want our children to speak of and be brought up under.
